Health Care

Conway Regional Medical Center is a 116-bed facility offering a wide range of services to the central Arkansas area. Some of the services residents of the area have access to are: CT scanning, MRI, nuclear medicine, diagnostic ultrasound, in-patient and out-patient surgery, a coronary care/intensive care unit, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology. A fully automated lab allows on-site chemical analysis. A professionally-trained staff of nurses, therapists and technicians compliment the care provided by the physicians.

The Medical Staff includes physicians representing a range of specialty areas including anesthesiology, cardiology, emergency medicine, family practice, gastroenterology, general surgery, internal medicine, maxillofacial surgery, gynecology, obstetrics/gynecology, opthalmology, orthopedics, osteopathy, otolaryngology, pediatrics, plastic surgery, radiology and urology.

The Emergency room is physician-staffed around the clock. The hospital also operates a paramedic staffed ambulance service which serves Conway and the surrounding area. Conway Regional offers complete labor, delivery and nursery care. There is also a complete out-patient surgery department designed to offer the utmost in convenience to patients. Extended care is available through the hospital's Home Health Care agency.
