Local Parks

Airport Park
Airport Park is located at Sixth Street and Fifth Avenue. This city park has one unlighted adult softball field, a small playground and basketball goal.

Bainbridge Park
Bainbridge Park is located on Kensington Street. It has one pavilion with one table, three basketball goals and a small playground.

Beaverfork Lake and Park
Beaverfork Lake and Park is located on Highway 25. This city park has a large lake available for swimming, skiing and fishing. Several picnic tables, one large pavilion with tables, grill and electricity and one small pavilion. A handicap accessible fishing dock, two sand volleyball courts, one lighted adult softball field and three large bathrooms.

Conway Sports Center/Don Owen Memorial Park
The Conway Sports Center is located on Lower Ridge Road and houses the City Parks and Recreation offices. It consists of three full size indoor basketball courts, four racquetball courts, eighth-mile indoor track, and one large meeting room. Don Owen Memorial Park is located off of Lower Ridge Road. The Conway Rodeo Arena, three lighted adult softball fields, four tee-ball fields and one small playground are located at the park.

Curtis Walker Park
Curtis Walker Park is located off Siebenmorgen Road. It has one lighted baseball field, two basketball courts, playground area and a pee wee football field. It is used by the Conway Youth Soccer Association.

Fifth Avenue Park
Fifth Avenue Park is located on Fifth Avenue. This city park includes one lighted adult softball field, two fenced, lighted tennis courts, two large pavilions, two basketball goals, one volleyball net and one large playground area.

Gatling Park
Gatling Park is located on Broadview Avenue. This city park consists of one lighted basketball court, two fenced, lighted tennis courts, one playground.

Laurel Park
Laurel Park is located between Prince Street and Robinson Avenue. This city park has two basketball courts, four fenced, lighted tennis courts, one pavilion, one large playground, 7/10-mile jogging trail, one soccer field and one backstop.

The Young Business Men's Association Fairgrounds
The YBMA Fairgrounds includes a practice field, baseball fields for boys 8-15, soccer fields, pavilions and picnic tables. Building on site accommodates the Faulkner County Fair, held annually in September.

State Parks

Pinnacle Mountain State Park
Pinnacle Mountain is a day-use park dedicated to environmental education, recreation and preservation. The diversity of habitats, from high upland peaks to bottomlands along the Big and Little Maumelle Rivers, provide many outdoor opportunities.

The park includes a visitor center with exhibits, A/V programs, a meeting room and gift shop. Special interpretive programs may be scheduled by contacting the park on Mondays. Facilities include picnic sites, a standard pavilion, launch ramps and hiking trails. Within the park's environs is the Arkansas Arboretum, a 71-acre site exhibiting examples of native flora representing Arkansas's six natural divisions. Situated below Pinnacle Mountain along the Little Maumelle River, the arboretum includes a .6 mile barrier-free trail. Woolly Hollow State Park
Just 15 minutes north on Conway, this state park is the site of the area's first settlers and offers fishing, camping, swimming and picnicking. Call (501) 679-2098 for more information.

Federal Parks

Cadron Settlement Park
Located five miles west of Conway on the Arkansas River, this national historic site offers a boat launching ramp, hiking trails, restrooms, picnic areas, a pavilion and the Blockhouse restoration. It is maintained by the Corps of Engineers.

Old Ferry Landing Park/Toad Suck Park
West of Conway along the east bank of the Arkansas River, it offers a boat ramp, picnic areas and a playground. A restored metal towboat, once used by the ferry is at the site. Toad Suck Park is just across the Arkansas River in Perry County. It offers a boat ramp, picnic area, pavilions, basketball court, softball and soccer fields, tent and trailer spaces with RV hookups. Both are operated by the Corps of Engineers.

National Parks

Hot Springs National Park
Hot Springs's National Park, located 84 miles southwest of Conway, is Arkansas' only National Park, and the only National Park to include an entire city. Widely known for its renowned hot mineral springs, the city has gained worldwide recognition for its therapeutic bathhouses located along the famous "Bathhouse Row."
