Conway Corporation is a city-owned utility providing electricity, water and cable television to residents and businesses within the city limits. There is a $150 deposit for electricity and water. Conway Corporation is located at 1307 Prairie, and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone: 450-6000

Arkansas Power & Light

(Electricity outside city limits)

Residential home owners are required to pay a deposit (varies according to past usage at the residence.) The deposit is held until you discontinue service and your last month's bill is deducted from it. Allow one to two days for hook-up service. The AP&L office is located at 112 Oak, and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Phone: 329-9826

Arkansas Louisiana Gas Company

A deposit of up to $75 is required for residential gas hook-ups for customers with no credit. There is no deposit required if a customer has good credit. There is an $18 service charge for all hook-ups. Allow one day notice for service. The Arkla office is located at 901 East Oak, and is open from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.
